CLASSROOM VISITATIONS

Classroom visitations bring the presenters up close and personal into the individual classroom, or to a chosen grade level.  These visitations can enhance a school’s assembly, or provide stand-alone instruction for a selected topic. 

This close interaction is ideal for facilitating collaborative workgroups and question/answer sessions.  Presenters are specially trained to facilitate lessons for elementary students and have facilitated over 3,900 lessons in elementary classrooms over a three-year period.  These lessons covered important life-skills, such as decision making, communication skills, conflict resolution, social competence, sense of purpose and independence, and getting involved in positive activities. 

Classroom visitations offer two formats:

• 30 minute lessons

• Visitations (informal interactions; including question and answer sessions with presenters)

Classroom lesson topics include:

• Being Buddies not Bullies

• Making Good Choices

• The Danger of Drugs

• Drug Refusal Skills

• Handling Peer Pressure

• Building Self-Confidence

• Avoiding Gangs and Group Violence

CLASSROOM VISITATION FEES

PRICING FROM WITHIN 100 MILES FROM PLANO, TEXAS

$100.00 per 30 minutes***

*** Lessons require full 30-minute timeframe. 

*** Visitations can be split into 15-minute increments. 

Travel fees are added if the program is beyond 100 miles from Plano, Texas.  Fees include:  roundtrip mileage at 44.5 cents per mile; $35.00 per diem, if overnight stays are necessary, plus lodging.  If flying and/or car rental is necessary, then venue will reimburse incurred expenses.
