ABOUT CHRISTOPHER

Christopher Bianez has a strong passion for inspiring young people to avoid the negative and destructive consequences of drug abuse and violence. He has served in leadership roles working with youth for over a decade in volunteer positions and professionally.
Officer Bianez began his law enforcement career with the Plano Police Department in April 1997. His favorite assignment was being a Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.®) Instructor. As a D.A.R.E.® Instructor he taught hundreds of anti-drug and anti-violence lessons each year to thousands of students. Bianez has seen, first-hand, the tragic consequences of drug abuse and violence. He currently is assigned to the Crime Prevention Unit, where he helps families, homes and businesses be more secure.
Christopher recognized the important element of entertainment in educating today’s youth. He envisioned the program he and Officer Privett now present:

This program captivates the students’ attention through trampoline and martial arts demonstrations and delivers an important safety, character, bully-free, or drug-free message.
Christopher was a competitive gymnast and springboard diver in high school and college. He credits his ability to stay drug-free and stay out of trouble to his involvement with sports. Christopher received his Bachelors of Science degree in Human Relations and Business.
Christopher encourages youth to find a positive activity that they can put their heart and soul into, knowing that this can be a safeguard from drugs, violence, and other risky behaviors. Officer Bianez feels greatly blessed to have the opportunity to share his time, talents, and efforts in strengthening our youth’s commitment to stay drug and violent-free!
